I love going on road trips with my brother and this one was to Stillwater
and I found this interesting. It got me thinking about how God is our bridge,
he is the One we connect too. He's the one we go to when we feel like giving
up. He gives us friends to connect with or bridges us together.
A bridge is built strong and to withhold all the different elements and no
matter what comes at that bridge it stays put, and that's how our Father God is
for us he stands as a Strong Tower for us or a Strong Bridge that can weather
anything. He holds us as we go through the elements that the enemy throws
our way. And we need to be strong like that bridge not wavering to the right
or to the left. We just need to stand and stay put.
And some bridges need to be burned all the way because they can distract
us from hearing from God and also those friends who pull us away from
having a relationship with God, so their are different reasons for
bridges, some we keep and keep on building and others that have to be torn
down. Each situation is different and unique.
Sometimes we need to build bridges to get cars across to the other side,
and even walkways so that bicycles can go over too.
And we can become like old bridges all worn out if we don't continue
having a relationship with Jesus Christ. and same if we stop reading the Bible
we can become weak and fall apart and the beams that should hold us up
end up falling down into waters. We need those beams to hold us up just
like Jesus does for us. We need to keep our bridge free of debri because if
we don't well crumble and fall.
So keep your bridges strong and mighty like that of Jesus Christ.
